SPIA graduates have access to a variety of career opportunities including:

• Supporting various US government and state agencies, such as the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, Department of Justice, and the Governor’s Office of Georgia
• Researching and implementing policies on behalf of major consulting firms
• Composing and implementing public relations and marketing campaigns for large PR firms
• Assisting with political campaigns at all levels and throughout the United States
• Providing outreach and research programs for major news organizations, such as the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and CNN
• Working with financial firms in the fields of financial analysis and communication
• Supporting non-profit firms on behalf of a whole host of communities in need
• Helping U.S. federal and state government agencies understand security concerns and economic opportunities in other countries
